NO TEXTILEGO TO WASTE
The repair challenge is real and it goes far beyond a broken button or torn seam. Right now, across the fashion lifecycle — a mix of lack of access to proper tools, unclear guidance, and limited professional support means that most people simply give up. The answer? A personalized repair system that helps people easily assess, plan, and execute garment repairs while connecting to professional networks when needed.
MAKE REPAIR COOL AGAIN
WHY?
The problem is not that repair is impossible, but that there is no accessible system that enables users either to repair their clothes themselves with the right knowledge and tools, or to easily connect with professional repair services.
In Turkey, the repair culture is particularly strong among individuals over the age of 35-54%. They consider clothing repair as a 'routine household skill.'
Particularly interesting is that, for the Older and Generation X cohorts, the knowledge was passed down from family. But for Millennials, they've sought out learning themselves through DIY and creative channels.
1960–1980 cohorts widely learned sewing/repair from parents; for those born after 1995, the rate is just %18.

Late generations are losing an important legacy. There's an increasing barrier because not having a guide in the craft. This is reflected in consumer research as well, clearly indicating a gap.
KEEP IT FIX IT LOVE IT !
Product Opportunity Gap
%67 of users keep damaged clothing due to the unpredictability of the repair/recycling process.

If yes, what's stopping you from getting these clothes repaired?
I don't want to throw away the garments
I don't feel attractive in my clothes anymore
I want to repair but I don't know sewing
“There is a lack of a personalized and sustainable repair system that adapts to different damage types, fabric structures, and user profiles, and bridges self-repair with a collaborative professional repair network.”
Repairing my clothes is important to me. If I knew how to repair them, I would definitely repair more.

‘It would be great if it were a platform where everyone could share their projects, fostering open exchange of ideas. Or, a map section would be nice so that people nearby could see who has textile waste, yarn waste, etc. Or it would be good if I could indicate that I have leftover materials that might be suitable for your project, etc.’
